New Backup Beta

I have successfully been using FTP backup under New Backup Beta for a long long time. Now, as of June 28th it just stopped working. If I go into the backup and attempt a Connection Test it connects just fine. However, the log shows :
Date Time: TYPE FTP --> 1
Date Time: Type conection Back FTP
Date Time: Failed to connect to "IP Address" (login failed)
Date Time: Blank
Date Time: Backup Finished

I have attempted to update CWP and restart services. I've tried deleting the backup and recreating all with the same results. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Acknowledged bug -- should be fixed with the next update (as the dev has promised)...

Im getting the same ERROR across many of my CWP installs... tried a fresh install of CWP and the same error comes up.

/mnt/backups/tmp/. backup_temp,
aborting.

I did also try changing the directory and its kinda working but not compressing and clearing the tmp folders.
