Waiting on billing
« on: July 26, 2024, 04:59:53 AM »
Hi,
I paid for one year license via skrill 3 days ago. Payment shows as not paid and billing has not replied in 3 days.

What do I need to do?

Thanks
Brendan

(Could not work out how to edit.)

Stripe is what I used top pay, not skrill.

I stopped using PayPal years ago.

Whenever I have tried PayPal with CWP it requires you to login to PayPal. (other similar sites don't require you to login)

Never had a problem paying our invoices with PayPal to CWP either.

But as I've mentioned in the past, CWP doesn't monitor the forums for billing issues.

Did you check your credit card and se ethe charge?
Not just a hold, but a charge?

I just paid via PayPal and it allowed me to do so as a guest. Swear it hasn't before (maybe a plugin).

At the time I paid I received a message on my phone from my bank confirming I just made a payment.
After your post wet over my account and found no record of the payment.

I'm guessing the message I received contained the word pending and for some reason the payment didn't proceed.

I've had that problem with various companies.

The payment request goes to the credit card company, and shows pending.
Just to find out the credit card company blocked it for 'fraud'.
After about 3 days it all disappears.

It's annoying, and the credit card companies never give details on why.

Location -- going from the US to Eastern Europe can trigger alarm bells (esp. the first time).

I do it every month, and it still rings alarms.  :-\

Thank you both for the replies.

Would be good if my bank notified me when a payment failed and not erase the transaction from record.

Live and learn I suppose.
