Starburst has a guide for installing CWP with MariaDB 10.6, after which you can update to 10.11 or 11.x (LTS versions):

I got that to install using his guide, I just cannot get CSF to enable now and I have followed everything on here that I could find, I must be missing something.

Try to use the CWP install script.

That fix is old, and apparently things have changed in their repo for installation.

Thanks Starburst, but that installation gives me MariaDB 10.3.xx.x and a "ghost" message in the YUM manager... I also can't get PHP 8.4 to install... I was hoping this fix would give me a little better solution....

Thanks anyway

You can always upgrade MariaDB post-install:
https://www.alphagnu.com/topic/23-upgrade-mariadb-1011-in-cwp-centos-7-centos-8-stream-almalinux-78-rockylinux-78/
https://starburst.help/control-web-panel-cwp/control-web-panel-cwp-admin-tutorials/upgrade-mariadb-10-x-to-10-11-with-cwp-on-almalinux-9/

Funny, I just brought up two AlmaLinux 8 systems a month or two ago and didn't encounter these issues. CWP should really patch their install and get onto supported software versions for the initial installation. MariaDB 10.3 and 10.5 are very antique at this stage, long since EOL.

DO NOT UPGRADE TO MARIADB 10.11

WAS JUST TOLD BY IGOR/CWP THAT IT IS NOT SUPPORTED BY CWP...

Only the version installed with their installer is supported by CWP if you need help...
