Disable the feature in the UI if you really want people to sign up for pro.

Agreed. For a temporary fix, I had to create a script executed by cron after the cwp daily cron executed to automatically set php-fpm executable permission and restart the service.
Though in one of my server where I deleted php-fpm managed by cwp and then installed it manually, the php-fpm permission did not get modified by cwp daily cron

Been a while, forgot to update the solution here.
Turns out I just need to update to cwp version 0.9.8.740 from cwp version 0.9.8.738 manually. Now the script is there and up and running

Hello,

I have a problem, I have bought the cwppro subscription, but the cwp has not been switched to pro after more than 24 hours.
Based on someone post here http://forum.centos-webpanel.com/centos-7-problems/you-are-not-running-cwp-pro/ it can be fixed by running the /etc/cron.daily/cwp again. When I peek inside the content of /etc/cron.daily/cwp there are 2 commands:

1. /usr/local/cwpsrv/htdocs/resources/admin/include/cron.php
2. /usr/local/cwpsrv/htdocs/resources/admin/include/cron_backup.php

The second command does work just fine as the db indeed backed up, But the first command file is not even exist, thus not running. Why is that and how do I fix this?
