I did a clean install, centos 7.   I still cannot get a valid cert for server.  All I get is a self signed cert.  What is wrong?

I have a c8 install and cannot get ssl on host.  So I decided to install a new C7 droplet.   And I still cannot get a ssl for server.

At the moment I am still using linode host name  https://li178-48.members.linode.com:2031/login/index.php

This driving me crazy.  I have been trying to troubleshoot this for months.

I noticed that my autoresponder messages has a return path address of vacation@my.server.com.  Is there a reason why "vacation" is the prefix?

My autoresponder works fine.  But keep in mind you have to have the email account created and visible in your list of email accounts.   Forwarding domains can cause autoresponder problems.

I set my autoresponder up and it worked wonderfully......until the day when my autoresponder autoresponded to someone elses auto responder.   Within minutes we both have 1000 emails in our email inbox.  This is not good.

Autoresponders should have noreply@ return address.  And most do.....but not CWP.

I changed the hostname to a different hostname and I am still getting the same selfsigned cert errors.

The problem is that there is a self signed certificate in the mix.   And I don't know how to get rid of the self signed cert in CWP.

When you access CWP and goto Server Settings -> Change Hostname

It will show:

Your Hostname is: (Hotname) and it resolves to IP: 1.2.3.4 [Check Black List] [Check CWP SSL] [Check WebServers SSL]
rDNS/PTR = (Hostname) SUCCESS [Check SenderBase]

The SUCCESS should be a Green block with White letters.
If it's not, a SSL will not generate for the hostname.

Also Let's Encrypt only allows 3-4 attempts per 24 hours or something like that.

Just my 2 cents.

Thats all you will find in the log that you asked for, but just repeated over and over and over every day.
