i´m on centos 7 i cant install anything higher from yum.

it is recommend to use centos 8 stream for openssl 1.1.1 and don't try to update openssl in centos 7 it will break many things

hi you need to check the logs for the errors and this type of behavior doesn't exists in healthy server and apps.

I have a load of bugs and feature requests to add, but I have also  noticed there is not much activity at https://bugs.control-webpanel.com/

I am on the free tier so I don't expect support but I can report all of the issues I find etc.. if they will get looked at.

p.s. CWP has great potential but is a little rough around the edges.

sure we'll polish those edges

Hello there
Suddenly i couldnt be able to login to CWP
I tried restarting cwp service & even the whole server
When tried to update the cwp using "/scripts/update_cwp" it throws the following error :
The encoded file /usr/local/cwpsrv/htdocs/resources/admin/include/cron.php has expired.
How could i solve this issue ?
Any help will be appreciated

hi it can be issue with user side as probably you blocked the cwp update or you didn't updated cwp for long time. If you've CWP pro enabled contact us we'll fix it.

I have noticed a frequent issue with CWP whenever I migrate a website to my server. If I manually create the database and add all the permissions, I mean "ALL" permissions from CWP GUI, I noticed I still won't be able to access the website in question, unless I go back to the MySQL Manager, set the password again (even if it's the same password as before) and also save the permissions of the user again.

It's almost like the first time I create the database and set the password and permissions, it's not saved properly by CWP unless I repeat the process again, more like re-enforcing it. I do not know if it's a bug or I am doing it wrong. Any ideas why this is happening?

I just tried to reproduce this with the newest version of CWP 0.9.8.1120.
I couldn't reproduce it.

On the homepage of PhpMyAdmin, on the right side of the page, below the "Database server". What does "User" say? is it the user account or root?

check full php build log it can be your server related issue like low on ram or some deps are missing or corrupted.

also for this run in putty ssh and see what you get ensure login as user xxx via ssh then run this command (you can enable shell access from cwp admin) :
