Information / Did CWP support IPV6?
« on: October 25, 2019, 12:12:17 PM »
I have a question did CWP support IPV6? I don't find any way to enable IPV6 in my websites.

At this point IPV6 should be a default options since most hosting companies are starting limiting the access to multiple IPV4.

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / Problem that can cause security problems
« on: September 06, 2019, 02:08:55 PM »
I have find a problem generating the password of databases on users control panel that can be a source for security problems.
Probably most people don't see it but when you go to the users control panel and create a new DB the suggested password is always "lFz9Tmpp8c", most people will use it, if someone find your db name can access it using phpmyadmin for example.

In 1m with this password I find random website and was able to access the phpmyadmin.

There are a second problem in the same form but not cause any harm, we have some options to change the size of the password created but don't work.

        RX errors 0  dropped 0  overruns 0  frame 0
        TX packets 105156  bytes 77301443 (73.7 MiB)
        TX errors 0  dropped 0 overruns 0  carrier 0  collisions 0

lo: flags=73<UP,LOOPBACK,RUNNING>  mtu 65536
        inet 127.0.0.1  netmask 255.0.0.0
        inet6 ::1  prefixlen 128  scopeid 0x10<host>

I have changed from VestaCP to CWP, at the moment I saw that CWP is more complex but also more powerfull, at the moment I'm struggling with a basic thing adding a extra IP to my server. Anyone can help me with that?

Also very important how can I add an IPV6 to my server?

I'm using Centos 7.
