What distro are you trying to install CWP onto? / What distro are you are you running CWP on?
Public or NAT?
I have the same error on Centos 7 server and Centos 8 Stream.
Im running with public IP.
Where can I find relevant error logs? Since the problem when this occurs is on client side, the email client fire an error telling that the certificate is insecure.

I'm running into a recurring issue on my CWP setup where every time my SSL certificate gets updated, my mail server starts acting up and throws certificate errors. I end up having to manually rebuild the mail server to get everything running smoothly again, which is becoming quite a hassle.
Has anyone else faced this? How are you all managing SSL cert renewals for your mail servers? Any scripts or settings that you could share would be a huge help.
Looking forward to some tips or guidance on how to automate this process a bit more, so I don’t have to keep doing everything manually.

Updates / How to upgrade the OS

I currently manage three servers, one running CentOS 7 and two running CentOS 8 Stream. All of them use CWP Pro. As CentOS 7 is nearing its end of life, I'm considering upgrading to either AlmaLinux or RockyLinux. I understand that there are ways to upgrade from CentOS 7 to AlmaLinux, but I'm concerned about potential compatibility issues with CWP. I'm leaning towards setting up a new server entirely to avoid these issues. Has anyone here already done this?
On the CentOS 7 server, I host around 100 domains. I'm trying to figure out the most efficient way to migrate these to a new server. Is there a method to move all accounts at once, or will I have to transfer each user account manually?
Furthermore, if I switch to a new machine, the IP will change. Will I need to inform all of my clients to update the IP on their nameservers?
Any suggestions to simplify this process will be greatly appreciated.

E-Mail / Problem when a certificate Renew

I have multiple servers with CWP with multiple domains of clients, from times to times my clients have errors caused by the certificate, I think is when the certificate renew the mail server continue to use the old one.
Most of the times to fix this I rebuild the mailserver but this is should somehow be handle automatically it's really annoying to have this issue.
Any tips to fix this?

« on: April 27, 2023, 09:57:03 AM »if you have a valid A record set for your hostname try also check that you have rDNS set with your server provider and then change hostname from cwp.
By changing hostname from cwp if you have an A record for it you will get letsencrypt (autoSSL) certificate installed automatically.
It would be also recommended to rebuild mail server after that, you can do that also from cwp.
This topic it's a bit old but I have the same problem everytime my certificate is renewed I get errors on email server and I need to rebuild it. Can we automatize this rebuild?

Did you check MailServer Manager option in cwp?
Yes but I don't have any option to generate a custom dkim with a specific selector.
I have added the domain on the server that will send the newsletters it generate a default_domainkey I can't have 2 dkim keys with the same name on the dns. My solution at the moment was to copy the dkim keys from the original server and paste it on this server.
So both servers have the same key and I need a single dkim record for both, but this is not a perfect solution should be possible to customize the selector used to be able to create something like newsletter._domainkey and prevent problems in dns

I have two CWP servers one will host the domain and the mail and the other is only used to send newsletters, but both will send emails for the same domain, to prevent spam I need to configure the dkim, but the problem is that both generate the dkim with the same selector "default" -> default._domainkey.
How can I change the selector in one of them?

PHP / imagick.so unable to load on every one of my servers after update

I have multiple servers running cwp, I have update at least 3 of them and now I have this error:

I don't know what is the old website but the current one https://centos-webpanel.com/cpanel is clearly on a cpanel.
It's strange to create a webpanel as alternative to cpanel and then use cpanel to host the main website of the project.

I found a possible security bug in my servers and I think most of CWP users will have exactly the same problem.
It's possible to everyone send and email (at least via port 25) without use any username or password to every domain in the server used as host.
For example you have the server with hostname server.example.com, this server have multiple domain in it domain1.com, domain2.com, domain3.com.
If you send an email from other server via smtp and you use "server.example.com" as hosname, as email you can use what you want and you send an email to one of the domains hosted by the server for example domain1.com it is delivered without any problem.
This is a major security problem.
How can we prevent this?
