The update to version 1.30.3 has taken down the webmail.
Webmail now is displaying a blank page just with the following message:
No Loader is installed, please try to run this command or contact support: sh /scripts/update_ioncube restart

Running the command above does not resolve the issue.
Result: now webmail is completely down.

Has anyone else encountered this?

Mine is fine. What do you get "ionCube PHP Loader" when you run the below commands ?

/usr/local/cwp/php71/bin/php -v
/usr/local/cwp/php71/bin/php -m

overseer

I had that ioncube error on one server. I edited /scripts/update_cwpphp83 to remove the file marker logic then re-ran it to get a working admin panel -- by reinstalling CWP's backend PHP.
rm /usr/local/cwp/.conf/.cwpphp83.done
nano /scripts/update_cwpphp83

#MARK="/usr/local/cwp/.conf/.cwpphp83.done"
...
# Already applied on a previous run.
#if [ -f "$MARK" ]; then
#    if code_is_83; then
#        echo "marker present, nothing to do"
#        exit 0
#    fi
#   echo "marker present but the panel code is $CODE_VER (older than the 8.3 code 1.25): running the migration again"
#    rm -f "$MARK"
#fi
Also check /usr/local/php/php.d/ioncube.ini -- is the 8.2.so active? If so change to the 8.3.so

Okay, thanks for the help.
However, I managed to work around the issue.
It turns out there's likely an issue with IonCube on my server, and the Roundcube configuration was using the 'cwpautologon' plugin.
So, I was able to get Roundcube back up and running simply by commenting out the 'cwpautologon' plugin:
//$config['plugins'] = ['additional_message_headers', 'archive', 'calendar', 'carddav', 'cwpautologon', 'emoticons', 'help', 'hide_blockquote', 'identity_select', 'legacy_browser', 'managesieve', 'markasjunk', 'new_user_dialog', 'new_user_identity', 'password', 'show_additional_headers', 'subscriptions_option', 'tasklist', 'userinfo', 'vcard_attachments', 'zipdownload'];

... and adding the line:
$config['plugins'] = ['additional_message_headers', 'archive', 'calendar', 'carddav', 'emoticons', 'help', 'hide_blockquote', 'identity_select', 'legacy_browser', 'managesieve', 'markasjunk', 'new_user_dialog', 'new_user_identity', 'password', 'show_additional_headers', 'subscriptions_option', 'tasklist', 'userinfo', 'vcard_attachments', 'zipdownload'];

And the roundcube problem is solved.

But, that said, I still haven't figured out why IonCube isn't working with Roundcube on my server.
Anyway, I'll still give your solution a try.
