My mod_security is useless cause all it sees is my server ip !?

Hi there ,

I did installed varnish using cwp Select Webservers , it doesn't have any configuration to tweak in varnish config , just two check boxes

Varnish Disk Storage Size (recommended: 1G):
Use RAM as storage (memory available 4.9G):


Now my mod_security sees every traffic from my server ip , i had to disable it since it's getting block by simple attacks from clients,
How can i config it so it does represent ( forward ) every request to apache using client ip , not my server ip
