Why do you say that we are alone, not knowing how to attach an image?
Embedding a url link IS NOT THE SAME AS UPLOADING A FILE.

CentOS-WebPanel GUI / Re: Login CWP Cloudflare
« on: April 25, 2023, 09:32:08 PM »
Try turning off the redirect and manage it yourself on the CWP level (with the CSF firewall). I switched my CWP to run an alternate port and only have the HTTPS custom port exposed on the firewall. It will help you avoid getting profiled by someone doing a Shodan search for ports 2030 and 2031, indicators of running CWP and possibly identifying unpatched weaknesses. And since I do the management on my servers solo, I definitely turned off the cPanel wannabe ports 2086,2087. I have left 2083 enabled due to customer familiarity with that port for the customer panel.
FYI  cloudflare has the option require authentication to get to your admin login page.  FWIW

I noticed that PHP selector on a domain basis, is only working for User login not admin login.

Technically, any privately provided internet service from an ISP is for private use only. Most ISPs don't monitor you, but lets say you have fiber and a static IP. If you start getting DDOS-ed and/or a lot of activity, then they will start looking into you.

Take a look into these articles:
https://developers.cloudflare.com/fundamentals/get-started/setup/allow-cloudflare-ip-addresses/#allowlist-cloudflare-ip-addresses
https://gist.github.com/Manouchehri/cdd4e56db6596e7c3c5a

Interesting...Looks like I would have to add a slew of cloudflare ip ranges.  Everything is moot until my DSL is more reliable.  Lately it goes down 4-5 times a day for 2-3 minutes.   Just enough to be a nuisance.

It sounds like it should; I use their other services, but not Cloudflare Tunnel. Does your ISP block ports 80, 443 and/or 25? Or does their EULA preclude running a home based server?

Cloudflare has some really great 2 factor authentications and hides your server Ip address.  Logging into cwp admin panel would require a user name and password before you even get the CWP login page to display.  I'd like to try this on my websites before trying it at home.  ISP has no problem with port 80 open and even offer a static IP for $15/month.  With fiber optics coming I am thinking that many cloud servers will be moving to home servers.

Cloudflare does not permit email servers and video streaming.

Could a cloudflare tunnel work for a home based CWP server?

Installation / Re: php per domain
« on: March 22, 2023, 01:51:56 AM »
From the Dashboard, select WebServer Settings > WebServers Domain Conf , Select the user name from the pull down menu and then either the main domain or subdomain tabs.

From the user cPanel, go to CWP Settings > Php Selector
yea, that was a waste of time for both you and me.

Installation / php per domain

I am having trouble finding the php assignment per domain in cwp pro.  I thought I saw it a few days ago. But now I cant find it. I think it might be a bug after the latest update.
