Apache / Issues with brand new fresh install with almalinux 9.4

I am having issues with Apache starting and Bind starting. I have a fresh install of almalinux 9.4 and cwp pro latest. Here is what the logs say for each:

Problems on other RedHat linux servers / blah.blan.com ssl almalinux 8.9

I am having an issue with pop3 email in gmail (I check some of my pop3 emails from gmail to keep from running email software on my computers at home and I can check gmail anywhere.

The issue is that I moved from a vps to a dedicated server and now I am having issues checking secure pop3 emails. See errors below:

Email address:   admin@blah.host
Unable to establish secure SSL connection to mail.blah.host
Server returned error: "SSL error: Leaf certificate is self-signed"

But I don't get it because I have been checking it the same way with blah.blah.com as the server hostname and mail.blah.com on the vps with the same data center and now it decides on the server it doesn't want to work? I did cwp->cwp migrate of accounts.

Installation / Compiler requires 512 MB RAM + SWAP

I ran the installer on Almalinux 8 and everything went fine until it got to the php compile part in cli and gave me the error that I needed this:

Ummm, I have an Intel i7 DDR3 16GB ram offshore server so I DO have more than 512mb!!!

CentOS 7 Problems / Issue starting cwp after removing user.conf due to 502 bad gateway

As the title states I have an issue after running systemctl start cwp-phpfpm. See error below.

phildo.xyz redirect to .cf because of the software package you are using on that account.  Much like wordpress, it will redirect all requests to the domain set in the backend.  So no matter what domain name used to access the site, will always end up with phildo.cf in the address bar.

So you're saying it works just fine with Wowonder PHP Script for ucf site but doesn't work for Sngine PHP Script for phildo.xyz? They are almost identically the same script, they copy off each other so it shouldn't be a problem. I have never had this problem using WordPress since 1997 either. It's got me stumped.

So how add on domains work, is it points to the main /public_html of the main domain by default.

If you want different sites, you have to point to sub-directories.

e.g.

MAIN DOMAIN: /home/user/public_html

DOMAIN 2 (You want to show the same as MAIN): /home/user/public_html

DOMAIN 3 (You want a different site): /home/user/public_html/domain3

In your DNS, all 3 domains will point to the same IP.

I have it set this way for both accounts. I have 2 new domains I pointed each one to it's main domain public_html for that account, just as you have shown here:

MAIN DOMAIN: /home/user/public_html

DOMAIN 2 (You want to show the same as MAIN): /home/user/public_html

One works with one account and one goes to the main instead of the domain2.

I will show you with the actual domains:

I have upward.cf as the main account domain, I registerted upwardchristforward.xyz and pointed it to /home/upward/public_html and when I go to upwardchristforward.xyz  it works fine and stays on this domain.

But...

I have phildo.cf and I registered phildo.xyz and pointed it to the phildo.cf main folder which is /home/phildo/public_html but when I try to go to upwardchristforward.xyz it changes to upward.cf.

I am trying to get away from the .cf's because my spf and dkim isn't working with freenom correctly and I get google mails bounce back for verification issues.

I have registered 2 new domains and I have added them in cwp user under a domain (domain1) already set up. I changed the path to /home/user1/public_html for domain2 and one works fine and goes to www.domain2.xyz when called in the browser as I want it to go to domain2 and not domain1 (although domain1 will work when called as well). But the other domain I have set up does not go to domain3. When I type in www.domain3.xyz it starts to go to it then changes to www.domain1.xyz instead. Why does work fine but the other doesn't?

If your password contains special characters, at lot of PHP mail programs will screw up the password.

Does the same thing with a password with nothing but letters.

If it's running, then everything is good.  You must have fixed the reason it failed.

My wowonder script states that the password is incorrect and I have changed it in cwp user email accounts as well as in cwp root to the same password and it still fails but works just fine in getting mail in gmail web client.

If a video I just watched, you can register ns1 and ns2 for your domain name by clicking on Management Tools -> Register Glue records

add ns1  ->  Your server IP
add ns2  ->  Your Server IP

Next go to your domain.  Change the nameserver to ns1.yourdomain.com  and ns2.yourdomain.com

Finally.  In CWP Root.  Goto DNS Functions -> Edit Nameserver IPS

Change those to NS1 and NS2 of the domain you just did in freenom, and don't forget to change the IP's to your servers IP As well.   

Once your main domain resolves, you can safely change the nameservers of every other domain hosted on your server

This domain is not the servers primary domain so I cannot change the server nameservers to these. I have tons of domain names and only a few are freenom domains for small sites, not primary for the server. I have registered the ns1 and ns2 for this domain and will try it in a bit when it propagates.

EDIT: Tried it and restarted dns and got the following error from cwp:

WARNING!
Job for named.service failed because the control process exited with error code. See "systemctl status named.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.

I changed the nameservers for upward.cf in the dns file and saved it and restarted dns, apache and nginx.

Just a side note Mate.  You might want to transfer your domain away from Freenom before you lose it.  They were sued by META in March, and won't be able to renew it when that time comes.

Freenom owns the domains, they are free domains offered by freenom's service. The .cf, .tk, .gl are free domain names. You can't transfer them anywhere because they own them.

Your best bet would be to setup private nameservers  Freenom unfortunately doesn't have any help articles on how to do it, and I have never used them.  But if you go to the domain, and select nameservers, there should be an option for "Private Nameservers" where you can put both ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com with your servers IP.  Then set any domain you host to ns1.mydomain, ns2.mydomain.com as their nameservers as well.

I had my servers nameservers set for a long time and then all of a sudden my sites would not come up anymore unless I used freenom's nameservers.
