Any update?

yes its coming soon, probably January of 2017 or even sooner.

Here we are at March 2021...

At this point I think that it's safe to say that they have either abandoned this feature or put it low on the priority list so they can concentrate on more important things like security and new features.  I'm okay with that.  I'd rather things be more secure than have a plugin store.

Yes always the same. Lot of hot air and empty promises.....

And a workable product than some of us use to manage servers & run live sites...

3 years later? Yes, a failed idea (or never got off the ground). It's okay -- other "free" panels use plugins as their main income source so I'd rather avoid going down that road altogether.
