CWP Update?
« on: May 26, 2025, 07:09:22 AM »
Any updates and new features coming to CWP sometime soon? Would truly love to see the dark mode for the root access panel and maybe if you could fix the user panel dark mode so it actually stays dark after you login instead of having to click on the paint brush every time. I even have it set to dark mode for user in the admin area. Maybe dark mode for file manager as well. Also a webpage view of tail -f for different types of logs (click on log names from a list). Maybe a live nginx and httpd webview access printout in real time of visitors.

Yes, wouldn't it be nice. But I'd also take full EL9 support and some greater stability and some bug quashing over new features (as a matter of priority).

Yeah aaPanel and CyberPanel are kicking out 1-2 bug fixes and updates a week. They are going strong and quickly becoming worth a look.

I've mentioned it before, I'm wonder if CWP is skipping AL9 (kinda like how ionCube skipped 8.0), and going to support AlmaLinux 10 coming out in the next week or so.

It works OK on AL9.

But CyberPanel is expensive at $7.99/month for the 'Add-ons' which are built into CWP.
Not to mention they have had several major security intrusions where hacker's got in and locked data.

aaPanel isn't cheap either - https://www.aapanel.com/new/pricing.html
Their 'Free' version you loose features in CWP as well.

Maybe not cheap but it looks good and updated UI,
What it lacks are reseller accounts, they have root user, user and subuser, but you cant create a reseller panel there yet.
But when they do i think a lot is gonna move to aapanel

Staying right here unless CWP folds and closes up shop. (Mark Twain's quip is usually apropos: Rumors of its demise are greatly exaggerated.[/i])

Just a FYI AL10 just dropped Officially.

And I was hoping so much to try & recover this week.
Guess not, as I'll be up to no good testing more, now it's officially released.

Is there any approximate eta for CWP support in AlmaLinux 9 or 10?
